Our first opera is Wolfy, a 90 minute opera written in three short acts, derived from the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the most influential composers in all music history. The subject of Wolfy examines some of the major events in Mozart’s life, mainly focusing on the relationships between Wolfgang and his Mother, his sister, his first love, his wife and his prying mother-in-law. Wolfy explores the personal and emotional affects that Mozart had on the women in his life and shows a vulnerable side of the composer, which offers audiences a more personal connection with him.

The music in Wolfy is captivating and catchy! Any listener will quickly find that the melodies and ingenuity with which the opera is composed envelope the senses and leave the mind and voice humming with its tunes. Not only is the opera entertaining and funny, but it offers a deeply compelling dramatic quality that can only be compared to the most touching classic operas, musicals and films. With music by Misha V. Stefanuk and text by Evan Dozier-Stefanuk, this opera is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for audience members of all ages and backgrounds.

If you are not a classical music buff, do not be discouraged by the classical subject matter. This opera, in English, will appeal to you for sure!

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has passed away, and in this finale scene he is mourned by his widow, Constanze, his mother-in-law, his first love, Aloysia Weber and his dead mother. The four women describe how Wolfy influenced their lives, while the memory of the close relationship between Wolfy and his sister Nannerl is marked by a brief appearance of the two as children.
