The
story here:
Kiki,
the kitty, is spending a fun night with her kitty friends,
including a birthday party for her best friend, Sophie,
and exciting kitty-karaoke! The kitties take turns singing
karaoke tunes they are excited to share with one another.
When it gets late, Mama Kitty comes in to see that they
get ready for bed so they can have more fun tomorrow! The
next morning, Kiki wakes up to find out that she has lost
her beloved meow! A wonderful meow is the pride and joy
of any kitty! After all, "What's a kitty without her
meow?"
Kiki's
kitty friends are determined to find out what happened to
her meow, and they are adamant about getting it back for
her! Find out how all the kitties, including Mama Kitty,
band together to help Kiki get her meow back! They show
the true meaning of team work and friendship!
The
music for this short work is filled with many different
styles, including classical, jazz, rock, hip-hop, country
and even rap! It is not like any opera you have ever seen
or heard! It is a great opportunity to encourage children
to investigate the artform of opera and the performing arts!
It just might fascinate teens and adults as well, in fact,
we are quite sure it will!
